About this service

EU AI Compass is a mobile application and website published by Move78 International Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a private limited company registered in Hong Kong SAR (BR No. 78210857). By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.

Educational purpose only

EU AI Compass provides educational and informational content regarding the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) and related AI governance, privacy, security, and compliance frameworks. It does not constitute legal advice, privacy advice, tax advice, certification advice, procurement advice, or a professional opinion. Use qualified counsel and relevant specialists before making binding compliance, purchasing, deployment, or reporting decisions.

No compliance guarantee

EU AI Compass tools, guides, checklists, simulations, flashcards, and generated outputs are decision-support materials only. They do not prove compliance, certify compliance, replace conformity assessment, replace legal review, create an audit opinion, or guarantee that a regulator, customer, notified body, app store, payment provider, procurement reviewer, or court will accept a particular interpretation.

Regulatory currency and pending amendments

Tool outputs and compliance assessments reflect the regulatory framework as of the date shown in the on-page compliance stamp, where present. Pending legislative amendments, including the Digital Omnibus proposal and draft Codes of Practice, may be noted where relevant, but they are not incorporated as binding law until formally adopted and published through the applicable official process. Users should verify the current legal status of any proposal, draft guidance, standard, template, or code before relying on it for compliance planning.

Use of tools and user responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter, the assumptions you select, and the decisions you make from any output. Do not enter confidential, personal, customer, employee, production, trade-secret, health, financial, or legally privileged information into public webpages or app workflows unless you have independently assessed that use case and accepted the risk.

Privacy, local storage, and third-party infrastructure

The privacy posture of EU AI Compass is described in the Privacy Policy. Tool inputs and generated results are designed to stay in the browser or on the user’s device for the workflows described there. Standard website, app, font, CDN, app-store, payment, browser, operating-system, hosting, security, and network providers may still process technical request data under their own terms.

Intellectual property

The educational content, user interface design, and software code of EU AI Compass are original works of Move78 International Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The EU AI Act itself is publicly available EU legislation; our summaries, tools, guides, and mappings are original interpretive works. In case of discrepancy between EU AI Compass content and official legal text, the official legal text prevails.

Purchases, app stores, and refunds

Premium features, if available, may be offered through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another merchant-of-record or payment provider. Pricing, payment processing, tax handling, refunds, chargebacks, subscriptions, cancellation flows, receipts, and account-level platform records are governed by the relevant store, merchant, or payment provider terms. Move78 International Limited does not directly process payment-card data through the public EU AI Compass website.

Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the app, website, tools, content, or any feature at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent availability of a specific tool, or continued availability in every jurisdiction, app store, browser, operating system, or network environment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Move78 International Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of EU AI Compass, including reliance on any content, tool output, checklist, training material, regulatory summary, app-store flow, or third-party service. EU AI Compass is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from the use of EU AI Compass shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, subject to any mandatory consumer, platform, privacy, or app-store rules that may apply in a user’s jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates the latest version. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
