Until OJ publication and entry into force are verified, EU AI Compass treats the update as adopted-pending-OJ for source notes and user warnings, not as a final in-force citation. High-risk classification source status: The European Commission published draft guidelines on high-risk AI classification on 19 May 2026. The draft guidance is tracked as draft / non-binding source context for Article 6, Annex I, Annex III, and Article 6(3) triage. It does not replace Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 or existing-law application dates. Article 50 transparency source status: The Code is voluntary. Article 50 is not. The European Commission published the Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content on 10 June 2026. The Code is voluntary implementation support for Article 50 marking and labelling workflows; Article 50 transparency obligations remain legal obligations where they apply.
